Designing 3D Models for Coastal Biofiltering
Project Description
The coastal environment is enriched with many marine organisms that can filter a great volume of water. The concept of biofilter descript manipulation of these biofiltering organisms to improve water quality. One of the approaches could be deploying man-made structures with different shapes along the coastline to accumulate biofiltering organisms. This project aims at designing structures with a specific geometry to maximize the number and diversity of biofiltering organisms.
