It's been getting popular to use machine learning to generate classification on big data (e.g., text, images) and use the predicted values in subsequent statistical analysis (e.g., regression models). However, this exercise neglects the fact that machine predictions contain errors and hence will carry over the prediction errors in subsequent statistical models.
This project seeks to develop econometric models to address the above problem.
