Challenges of "One University, Two Campuses" Model: A Mixed-Methods Study
Project Description
To systematically investigate the governance, academic offerings, and financial systems of the "One University, Two Campuses" (OUTC) model. This project evaluates the mutual recognition of academic qualifications between campuses and among employers to provide policy recommendations that strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a global education hub.

Applicant's Roles
1) Data Collection
• Quantitative: Perform data cleaning and preprocessing of raw survey data collected from 10 selected OUTC cases to ensure integrity.
• Qualitative: Assist in the design and execution of semi-structured interviews and focus groups with university administrators, policymakers, and employers.
2) Data Analysis
• Statistical Interpretation: Use statistical tools to interpret survey results regarding demographics, service satisfaction, and qualification recognition levels.
• Thematic Analysis: Extract key themes from interview transcripts and MDM feedback to identify unique and common implementation barriers.
• Reporting: Assist in drafting policy briefs and academic outputs by translating data findings into concrete recommendations.
