This project examines how generative AI is reshaping business environment, with a particular focus on financial reporting and related corporate communications. Emerging evidence suggests that firms have already begun using generative AI in parts of the reporting process and that such use can be systematically identified and varies across firms and disclosure settings. Building on this developing area, the project will study how generative AI may affect the production, presentation, and interpretation of business information in financial reporting and other contexts.
