Biocatalytic Ketone Transformation with Alcohol Dehydrogenase
Project Description
In this UROP1000 project, the student will learn the whole process of protein expression, protein purification, enzyme activity assay, protein analysis, and biocatalysis. The target proteins belong to the family of alcohol dehydrogenases, the nost widely used enzymes in the pharmaceutical industry. The student will get hands on the biocatalysis work-flow.
