Advanced Quantum Rod LEDs
Project Description
The solution-processed quantum rod LEDs (QRLEDs) have the potential to deliver highly efficient display and lighting devices. However, these QRLEDS encounter challenges due to poor hole mobility, which constrains their external quantum efficiency and durability. This project aims to develop new hole-transporting layers designed to improve hole mobility and boost QRLED performance and lifespan. The students will learn about the basic characterization techniques for these LEDs and later deploy them in the display.
