Bus Electrification in Hong Kong: Energy Consumption Prediction and Charging Facility Planning
Project Description
This study will contribute to the electrification of buses in Hong Kong by providing a comprehensive assessment of energy demand of buses running on all existing franchised routes operated in the city. Specifically, we will estimate the possible electricity usage for fully electrified bus routes and identify those with intensive energy demand and hence would be problematic to fully electrify.
