This project aims to characterize an enzyme that can break down plastic materials. We will explore how this enzyme works, its structure, and how effective it is in digesting different types of plastics.

Applicant's Roles
The undergraduate researcher will play an important role in the project, with the following expected duties.
Literature review: analyze relevant papers for the simulation.
Data preparation and simulation : collect dataset of the enzyme, process the simulation, and analyze the data.
Enzyme expression and purification: express the enzyme from the simulation data, purify and evaluate the enzyme.
Presentation: summarize the results and prepare presentations.
