1. Analyze Public Filings: Develop the ability to critically analyze and interpret background descriptions in proxy statements from U.S. firms.
2. Understand ESG Framework: Enhance understanding of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, with a specific focus on the Environmental pillar, to evaluate how directors' expertise in environmental issues contributes to effective corporate governance and sustainable business practices.
3. Algorithm Development: Gain proficiency in designing and implementing algorithms that effectively identify and categorize the environmental expertise and skills of corporate directors, enhancing the understanding of their qualifications in addressing sustainability challenges.
