Characterization of proteins involved in and/or regulate the initiation of DNA replication in human cells. The project involves biochemical, cellular biology and molecular biology techniques.

Applicant's Roles
Preparation of reagents and growth media and participation of experiments under the direct supervision of a PG student or research staff. Year 2 and Year 3 LIFS UG students are welcome to apply; Year 1 Science students with intention to choose LIFS majors may be considered. Eight weeks of full time (40 hours per week) in the summer and 10-15 hours per week of working in the lab during the Fall and Spring semesters are expected.
