Ecosystem services assessment of the Tai Po Kau ForestGEO Forest Dynamics Plot
Project Description
This project will utilize the species inventory data collected by the Kadoorie Farm and Botanical Garden for the Tai Po Kau ForestGEO Forest Dynamics Plot to assess the ecosystem services generated by the site. Relevant ecosystem services will include precipitation retention and flood mitigation, air pollution mitigation, and reduction of urban heat island effects. The analytical method will involve primarily the iTree suite of ecosystem services assessment tools.
