Applicant's Roles
The applicant is expected to read social media posts that are potentially about protests and code relevant information.
Applicants should have native fluency in reading Chinese.
The work can be performed online. Research experience in social science is helpful but not required. No computational / programming skills required.
Applicant's Learning Objectives
The student will learn how to work with text data and learn relevant research related to social movements and protests.
The students will also be offered opportunity to analyze the data and write research papers with the data, under my close supervision upon satisfactory performance.
