Project Description
This project aims to develop a sensor system for detecting the volatile organic compounds. The sensor device is equipped with the battery system, sensor chip, and IOT system and the whole unit will be applied in the public area/indoor area for monitoring purpose.

Applicant's Roles
The students will involve in developing the battery system and IOT system and have opportunity to do the characterisation of air pollutant. The students will setup a unit for air pollutant sampling and quantification.
Applicant's Learning Objectives
This project aims to provide opportunities to the students on the development of VOC detection unit, particularly the establishment of battery system and IOT system for monitoring purpose.
