Packaging Footprints in Hong Kong's Food Retail
Project Description
This project investigates the packaging footprint associated with food retail in Hong Kong, with a comparative focus on how different retail formats handle, present, and dispose of packaging across selected food categories. Building on existing literature on packaging assessment in European retail contexts, the study addresses a regional gap by quantifying packaging practices in an Asian urban setting where wet markets remain a significant retail channel.
