Seasonal dynamics of polyphosphate in coastal marine environments
Project Description
Phosphorus (P) is one of the limiting nutrients in marine environments. Phytoplankton may accumulate polyphosphate (polyP) as a phosphorus storage compound to support their growth and blooming. The project will investigate the seasonal dynamics of phytoplankton polyP in the coastal waters around Hong Kong.
