Applicant's Roles
The students are expected to
1. Understand different topological phases or other types of phases
2. Learn to use tight-bind model, kp model and first-principles calculations
3. Find material candidates of various topological phases including Chern insulator, quantum spin Hall insulator, topological crystalline insulator and topological semimetal.
4. Study electronic and magnetic properties of topological materials and other materials
