A Web-based Interactive Visual Analytics Tool Using Genome Language Models
Project Description
Genome Language Models (gLMs) are large language models trained on DNA sequences. While they have potential for understanding DNA sequences and their functions, scientists and clinicians cannot easily use them because of technical barriers and the black-box nature of AI models. This project will lower this barrier by developing a web-based tool that integrates gLMs with interactive visualizations, allowing scientists and clinicians to use gLMs more easily and effectively for their analysis.

Applicant's Roles
The applicant's roles would include helping implement a web-based visualization tool and reviewing papers that integrate gLMs into analysis workflows. The applicant's specific roles will be determined through discussions.
